ART

Artist Statement

I believe art crosses many boundaries and many forms of media from traditional ones to new ones. Other forms such as literature, music, and film all classify as art in my book. I have always been interested in seeing how these various forms of media will influence and inspire future artists since mankind has the power to archive so much more than ever before. I will use myself as an example, I consider myself a child of pop culture. I grew up in a world where I was exposed to music, films, and television shows, that were produced and distributed years before my time and they have influenced me in my work. Artists have gone back and painted historical subjects before, but they never had so many resources at their finger tips."
